Preliminary meetings

Product Selection Meeting -
We will meet with you to look over product specification and give you vital information on what products may be able to save you money while not compromising look and quality.

Project Site Meeting -
We will meet with you at the project site to go over the plans and ideas to give you the necessary information to get your project rolling promptly.

Work with Architects/Draftsmen and Designers

We will work with your architect and/or designer to ensure that your dream home becomes a reality and not a nightmare. If you are trying to stay within a specific budget, we have a team of designers we work with who will assist you with furnishing and color selection for an hourly charge, not a project percentage. If you have a good idea of the layout for your new home, we also have a few draftsmen that we use to get plans completed in a short amount of time for 1/20th of the price.

Complete a detailed estimate and contract for your approval

We create multiple copies of your plans and get them to all of our subcontractors to make sure we have correct prices and solid contract for your project to ensure that when your project starts the price does not change.

Purchase Materials

There are several outlets for product purchase, and as a contractor, we do receive additional discounts on products. We pass these discounts directly on to our clients with a copy of the product receipts at the end of the job. Transparency and honesty are crucial to keep the good name we have established.

Start Building Project

We keep our phones on all day long and will remain in contact with you with questions during the project. Keeping in contact with our clients is crucial because we are able to keep the project flowing to stay on time and on budget. Most construction problems come from lack of communication when the owner is not informed of necessary changes or adaptation to the plans.

Complete Your Project and Hand Over the Keys

When your home is essentially completed, we set up a meeting with you to walk through the project site and create a "punch list" of things to be completed. The final bill will not be sent until the project is fully complete. After the project is complete, we will stay in touch with you to make sure that your home is still what you dreamed it would be.

In 2007, I used Ventura Construction to do a complete re-model of my condo in Wailea Ekahi, working primarily with Brian Ventura. This job included removing all cabinets and appliances, plumbing fixtures, popcorn ceilings, tile floors, etc.and replacing them with everything new. We also converted bathroom tubs to stall showers. This is a second home for us, and since we live mainly in California, many of the discussions and decisions were made over the phone.
